Traffic and Transportation Engineering Consultancy Services (On-Call Basis)

• The project involves undertaking complete or partial consultancy services in the field of traffic and transportation engineering, highways and roads design and project management on an ‘On-Call’ basis. The consulting firm shall undertake any of the tasks assigned to it by DoT on work order basis to cover the requirements of the Safety and Traffic Solutions Committee, which will be issued from time to time within the contract time frame. Work orders may include study, investigation, preparation of reports, surveys, and concept, preliminary or detailed designs and may also include construction supervision and project management. This requires the successful bidder to have the capacity and ability to respond quickly to DoT’s requests according to the agreed price.
• The tender documents can be collected from the Procurement & Contracts Division of the Department of Transport, Al Bateen Towers, C2, 8th Floor, near Central Bank, Abu Dhabi, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of AED 2,000 (Two Thousand) UAE Dirhams. Unregistered bidders need to pay AED 500 (Five Hundred) UAE Dirhams as a non-refundable registration fee with DoT.
• The last date for tender collection is Thursday, May 24^nd, 2012. All interested bidders are required to submit their bids latest by Sunday, June 10^th, 2012.
• The bids should be submitted to the Procurement & Contracts Division and should include all the required documents inside sealed envelopes with the tender number and firms name clearly written and addressed to the Director of Procurement & Contracts Division in DoT.
• DoT has the right to accept or decline any bid without justifications.
• This announcement is construed supplementary to the documents and conditions of the tender.
