Modon finalises contracts for industrial city road

Modon has concluded contracts, worth a combined $18.1m, for two projects to develop the road infrastructure of Qassim Second Industrial City.
The cost of the first project is $8.75m and includes the construction of all internal roads for the first phase of the industrial city on a 1.3m m2 segment of the development’s 4.7m m2 total area.
The roads, varying in width from 25m to 60m, will be completed by the end of 2013.
The second project will link the industrial city with the highway running between Qassim and Riyadh, involving a triple carriageway ultimately connecting with the highway by means of an overhead crossing.
The 4.1km road section, being built at a total cost of $9.33m, will be completed by the end of 2014.
